The Chocolate Moose Bed & Breakfast is located at 117 East Blue Ridge Street in uptown Stuart, Virginia, a small town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every season is a great time to visit Stuart...from Spring to Winter. Enjoy our gardens throughout the summer and watch the leaves change in Autumn. This B&B is located within walking distance to the shops and local restaurants. Come experience the Patrick County Music Association monthly jam, The Historic Star Theatre, and the many festivals of our area. Owned and operated by Judith Toscano, a Naturopath (Doctor of Natural Remedies) and Darryl Bobletz, a Certified Massage Therapist, just 16 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can enjoy the views, visit the local attractions, get a massage and create a plan to get on the road toward better health at The Wellness Cottage next door.
Not too long ago we built a wellness center we call The Wellness Cottage (nobody sleeps there) at which we provide over 15 wellness services within walking distance of The Chocolate Moose B&B. So you can stay a while and enjoy not having to drive after a massage.
The Chocolate Moose has 3 rooms upstairs. We offer a lovely breakfast consisting of freshly brewed Chocolate Moose house blend coffee, cereal, toast, juice, jelly, and fresh fruit…. with garden and bird viewing as you dine. Help yourself or we will be happy to serve you to an utterly enjoyable meal!
RATES
• $75.00 nightly rate for a room with a shared bathroom in the Wildflower or Moose Room, a fold out bed maybe added for $15.00 in these rooms only.
• $95.00 nightly rate for a room with private bathroom in the Wildflower or Moose Room with only one room rented.
• $135.00 nightly rate for the Dogwood Room, we call this our luxury accommodation……This room has a private bathroom with two person relaxing steam and multi jet shower, TV, DVD, and Mini Fridge in room, Queen size Select Comfort bed.
Our bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers so you don’t have to bring one.
We invite you to our rooms upstairs, where the sun shines in, and the Queen size Select Comfort beds assure you a good nights rest.

The Rejuvenation Package
– Enjoy not having to drive after a massage, natural surroundings, and genuine friendly services. The package includes arrival at 2pm; 3pm - One Hour Relaxing Massage (at The Wellness Cottage, just a short walk away); Use of the HydroSpa (that's right you soak in the spa while we prepare your dinner); Freshly Prepared Dinner – Start your meal with a healthy fresh organic salad, homemade dressing and fresh breads. Dinner choices include freshly prepared free-range, hormone free chicken or poached salmon marinated and steamed to perfection. Vegetable choices include the best market selection available. We also serve Vegetarian meals, Raw and Living Foods or special order the Mousse Steak Fillet topped with Chocolate Sauce. And for dessert, our homemade Chocolate Moose topped with orange sauce and whipped cream. Overnight Accomodations with a Select Comfort bed, luxurious private bath with steam shower for two. Complimentary breakfast available with juice, coffee, toast, cereal, and yogurt. Availability is for Friday and Saturdays only.
Advance reservations required. Rate is all-inclusive for $365.00 per night for 2 people.
Live, Raw, & More Workshop – Come take the three day challenge to learn about the healing powers of Raw & Living Foods. This workshop is held the last Friday – Sunday of each month from 10am – 3pm each day. Workshop prices are $65.00 per day, per class, includes lunch, and an information booklet for each day. The 3-day workshop price is $175.00 with certificate of completion and recognition as a Raw Food Enthusiast. You may come 1 or 3 days. Registration is required. Limited seating available. Please respond by calling The Wellness Cottage at 276-694-3650. A deposit will be taken over the phone or you may mail us a check after verification that a spot has been reserved for you. Overnight stay at the Chocolate Moose Bed & Breakfast is $75.00 per person, per night, this includes an overnight stay, shared bath, a Raw breakfast and raw dinner. This is a workshop price. This is an ongoing educational workshop. Classes will run the same every month, the last Friday of each month. The 2009 schedule is as follows: October 30-November 1; November 28 (Saturday only - we will follow Saturday's schedule); December - no classes due to holidays; January 29-31, 2010.
